The Gupta Empire was an ancient indian empire that ruled from,320 to 550 CE.
Government;
The Gupta System of goverment did share some similarities with the mauryan setup.
Villages were organized under rural bodies which consisted of the headmand village elders.
In the cities there was a council which had several officers like the president/leader of the city.
The Guptas also had a fairly good Godicial system. There were various councils which were authorized
to resolve disputes that arose.

The Gupta Empire is famous for it's beautiful paintings. The greatest painting are those known
as the Augunta murals.some of the ajanta murals shown scenes from the buddias life.perhaps the greatest ancient indian paintings are those known as the ajanta cave murals.some portray stories that reflected buddish values.

Technology is what guptas use like metalwork.one of th emost greatest accomplishments in gupta histor is metalwork.gupta metalwork were also famous for there ironwork.gupta king owned mines of gold, and copper, and iron.the iron is rust free for up to 1,600 years long.the coins wrer engraved with people honoring the gupta empire.the coins highligt the rulers wealth and acheivements.

As traditional Hindu monarchs, the Guptas were strong supporters of vedic religious beliefs and rituals. At the same time, however, they were active participants in the bhakit devotional movement centered around Visnu.. Indeed, the rapid spread of Vaisnavism in Gupta times was due to a large extent to their patronage.. In formulating their views of kingship, it is clear that they drew upon many of the concepts.

The Gupta script, which is also known as the Gupta Brahmi Script or the Late Brahmi Script.It developed from the Ashokan Brahmi script, and developed into the Devanagari.Gupta inscriptions have been found mainly on iron or stone pillars, and on numerous gold coins from the Gupta Dynasty.

There food supply was like hunting or fishing. They would go out to hunt or fish. the women would make the side dish and the men would mak ethe main dish.
achivements
The empire gradually declined because of many factors like the substantial loss of territory. After the collapse of the Gupta Empire in the 6th century, India was again ruled by numerous regional kingdoms. These Guptas were ultimately ousted by the Vardhana king who established an empire in the first half of the 7th century. A minor line of the Gupta clan continued to rule Magadha after the disintegration of the empire.
